HYSTORY
FIMA, an acronym that stands for Fabbrica Italiana Miscelatori e Accessori (Italian Mixer and Accessories Manufacturing), was established by Carlo Frattini in 1960. Over the years, thanks to the farsightedness and stubbornness of its founder, the Company has understood that design means referring to the culture of doing, guided by the accurate analysis of the reality and the constant improvement, which are the prerequisites of high-quality taps and fi ttings. Today, fi fty years later, the Managing Directors Andrea Frattini and Roberto Fiorindo, together with the Company staff, keep promoting this passion, to face the new market challenges and offer a reliable and state-ofthe- art product range.
YESTERDAY, TODAY AND TOMORROW
"When I founded the company, in the nineteen sixties, I already had some experience in the tap industry, as I had been working a long time, as a craftsman. I then developed a very particular kind of machine which I used to work on flexible hoses. I started from sanitary fittings and then, together with my family, I entered into the tap/mixer sector. Our company is a family managed one. This is for us an important value, still kept. Today it is my son and my family who lead the company. The tap was our arrival point, through which we have transmitted our imagine, style and brand. Even if we were between the last of many companies to become dedicated in this kind of production, in the course of fifteen years we have grown and specialised so much, that now we are between the top few tap manufacturers in Italy. "
